Diabetic Supplies
Hadfield Pharmacy has a full range of diabetic equipment and supplies. It may be possible for us to bill your insurance – we can bill Medicare for blood glucose testing supplies so there is no excuse for seniors to not be testing!

We have blood glucose meters, both for finger-stick and obtaining a blood sample from the arm. We provide the meter prescribed by your doctor, or help you learn about different meters so you can select the one that best meets your needs. We carry the test strips, lancets, batteries, and log books for all our meters. A pharmacist will teach you how to use the meter, so you can get the maximum benefit out of home blood glucose testing.

Blood glucose testing puts the power in your hands to manage your diabetes and see the effect of changes in diet, weight loss, and increases in exercise. Diabetics that keep their blood sugar close to the normal range have a decreased risk of long term complications of diabetes such as kidney failure, stroke, and blindness.

Ostomy Supplies
Ostomy supplies are the products used to manage an ostomy, or artificial opening in the body for eliminating urine or bowel movements. The supplies include cleansers and skin prep products, flanges for the skin, and pouches to seal to the flange and contain the waste. Most insurance covers ostomy supplies and we can research your benefits and bill you insurance for you.
